Prints Arrived and Locking Shipping

Hello imginators!
The 8x10 and 5x7 photography prints have arrived! In the next few days I will be locking shipping addresses and charging your cards for shipping and any add-ons you added to your checkout. We are getting closer to shipping out the rewards.
I just signed off on the latest proof copy and I'm happy to report that the cover was even more vibrant this time. I'll be ordering the physical copies of Imaginari early next week and depending on delivery time on those books I hope to pack and ship by 10/23.

Orders are locking!

We just have a few surveys left to be filled out! Meanwhile, your orders are locking and will be charging the add-ons or shipping cost as soon as those remaining surveys are completed. A little ahead of schedule, which means I might be able to ship sooner!
I’ve ordered the stickers, bookmarks, and photo prints from the printers! The final print test copies of the book itself look good, I was even able to get the cover to be a bit more brighter like I wanted it to originally be. Once those surveys are finished, I’ll have everybody’s preferred name for the thank you section. Then I can send the final book files off and order all of the print books and get the e-books ready to distribute to you.

Imaginari Key Dates and Updates

Many of you have already filled out the survey - thank you! It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards. While I'd love to teleport the book to you, alas, I need a shipping address.
Key Dates
Here's how I hope the rest of October goes (timing flexible as exact production timing is hard to predict until I put in the orders):
- 10/4 - Order final proof of the print version of Imaginari
- 10/10 - Locking pledges. No changes after this point. (If you wanted any addons, make sure to grab those asap). I’ll Order books, stickers, bookmarks from the printers!
- 10/11 - Charge your payment methods for the shipping or addons
- 10/16 - Send out ebooks
- 10/23 - ship out the orders!
- 10/24 - start recording the bonus audio book
My goal is to have the bonus audio book recorded by December so that I can distribute that by the end of the year. I'll continue to send updates through BackerKit along the way so that you know where we are in the delivery process.

Imaginari surveys are coming!

Soon, you’ll receive an email with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at

Thank you for making Imaginari a reality! I am so excited to get this book in your hands and on your e-readers. A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment.
Here's a quick rundown:
First, Backerkit needs to transfer over the funds so we have the money to make the rewards (this can take up to two weeks).
Second, we have to find out where we need to ship them. We’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect this information.
We’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards.
If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)
Answering your survey help us get your rewards out to you faster. BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.
